Spring Lake Cemetery

The Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora, IL. is a non-denominational cemetery. On August 31st 2019 we went for an investigation and found it to be very active. Towards the end of the night it started to rain.

These are some of the tombstones.

This grave is unusual as it is above ground for some reason. The stone is so old that the inscription cannot be read. It is believed thet at least two are buried here.

Aurora's founders are located in this site. It is not known how they came up with the name Aurora. While doing an EVP session we asked what this area was called before Aurora, no response was recieved.

The Foster family plot we got responses on the PSB11 Spirit Box and response on an EVP session. We asked to say hello to us and got a female voice that said " Hi " then asked who is here and got a response but, couldnt make out what was said. We asked if we should go and got a female response that said " Leave ".

At several locations we used an SLS camera and got stick figures that responded to us. One was asked to raise its hand and it did, and at the Veterans section we got high EMF readings and the SLS camera caught two spirits, when asked to jump from one tombstone to another, one of the figures jumped.

Rialto Square Theater

We partnered with Dale Kaczmarek and the GRS to investigate the Rialto Square Theater in Joliet, IL. on July 31st 2019. It is rich in history and spirit activity. The Rialto opened in 1926 as a Vaudeville Movie Palace. Today it holds Musicals, Plays, Concerts and Stand up Comedy. It has a Neo-Baroque design, the lobby is lined with cream colored marble with columns that rise up into a celestial dome filled with intricate sculptures. A Duchess chandelier dominates the center of the r0tunda. The theater underwent major renovation in 1980 and restored to its original glory. Many public and private events are also held here, one most notable private events held was the wedding reception of Christopher Knight of the Brady Bunch.

A dark figure of a man is reportedly seen in this mezzazine level in the lobby. While here we didn't experience any activity.

I took these pictures in succession from left to right and I cant say for sure or claim anything paranormal, but I cant explain the middle picture as I know for fact that nobody walked past me while I was taking them. I used an IR still camera for these pictures.

Shell Ward of Graveside Paranormal took this picture of stage right. Cant figure whats in the right side of the picture but in the highlited area there appears to be a figure standing in the shadows.

We had just arrived and didn't have any equipment out yet, but from the stage Shell Ward and myself heard a faint piano melody coming from the auditorium. Unfortunately no captures.

Other than the sound of a piano playing we heard, nothing else unusual was heard or felt from the auditorium.

Outside the auditorium in the lobby by the staircase that has a lot of activity we set up a group EVP session. We had a REM pod on the stairs, a phasmabox, multiple EMF meters, and digital voice recorders. During the session the REM pod went off several times, we felt cold spots where we were sitting. We got several responses on the phasmabox and most exciting responses on the voice recorders. When asked " Who is sitting at the table" both my name "Len" is heard and then a little while later the same thing is asked and the response was " Shell ".

The evening was not disappointng at all. Many of us had personal experiences and got some good evidence, but I wish we had more time to investigate. We were only allowed to stay until 11 pm. I would like to go back and spend an overnight to have more time with the spirits.
